Our backyard again… Heh, I think I took a picture every day for the first week of our backyard at sunset. I have a passion for trees and beautiful skies. And the two together is even better!

Wahha! China Airlines 1989, 30th anniversary – flight to Taiwan with my mom. I flew home with my mom this Christmas (she happened to be in China for a business trip) so it was like old times again 😉

The best picture for last. My fruit tart! Hehe, I don’t mean to boast but I was very proud of myself for making it. My brother is gluten free and now I am too so I made a gluten free version of our old favorite for my brother’s bday.

P.S. I watched Les Miserables with my mom tonight and it was so lovely… I saw the musical for the first time when I was 7 or 8 and growing up I wasn’t really allowed to listen to the radio in the car so it was always Les Mis or Phantom of the Opera playing… it was like revisiting an old friend that you haven’t seen in a long time and for some reason miss even more when you are reunited. My mom always reminds me of how much I cried when I saw the show. I don’t think I even understood what was going on but I was so moved by the music & singing that I cried, even sobbed I think, until my head hurt… hehehe, anyhow, I practiced “On My Own” with my mom all the way home. hahaha, she has been giving me singing lessons! Oh man, it is a lovely thing to come home and be loved. Goodnight dear world ***
